Optimum puukko grind angle

Hello all, I am currently making some puukko blades in CPM 3v, 4v, M4, and M390. The thicknesses are either .156, or .177. I am just trying to pick some brains about what angle I should run my single bevel scandi grinds for these two specific thicknesses, for optimal edge strength and cutting ability. I am also probably going to be doing some Scandivex edges on a few of them, but not until I finish this single bevel bunch. I have already done several at 16°, and one at 10° (non inclusive), and they look great. The ones I've done already are the .177 variety. ANY info on this or even any kind of tips toward the topic would be greatly invited and appreciated. Thank you all very much, and Im looking forward to some responses!!

Oh and these blades are all .75" wide, and 3 or 4 inches long. Like, specifically 3" and 4" lengths. I might do a leuku later today, which will have a longer and wider blade, but will be the same thickness as the others.

I suggest looking closely at ones by Jelio in the customs section. What I like is how he has a nice flat bevel, but also narrows towards the spine. This creates a crisp facet that looks great.

I dont make Puukos, but other traditional Scandinavian design. Anyway, there is no ”optimal” but, 20°-22° is my usual but depends alot on blade thickness and what just ”looks right” for the overall knife. Fwiw, Puuko as I define anyway, bevels extend fairly high over the blade width.
