Hey Guys, I actually do hang out over here sometimes, I just never post. 
I dont do FRN to G-10 because of the nested liners and the need to make the Backspacer from steel. Actually the backspacer is the main reason. Ive dont it a few times and simply decided it wasnt worth the time. Its like making a completely custom knife but without the blade. Generally if I do a custom knife, I like to do my own designs
