I built this knife because it was load of fun. :)
Blade is 3" and the handle around the 4" mark.
Orange G10, Corian bolsters over grey with Blue/black jeancarta back-spacer.
A2 for the blade and stainless for the "tool".

So, why incorporate such a "tool"?????
Well, it does not matter if the hunting/fishing is good or bad....a frosty bottle of brew is essential and a good cap-lifter is thus a necessity!

The shield is from an old Austrian folder.
The reasoning behind this is that it sports a Boar's head to signify the hunt and the logo "Weidmannsheil" translates as "Good Hunting".

The knife was fun make and built to be used.

Dirk, my meager resources don't permit me to buy your orange "handy knife" but I wanted to tell you that I like a lot of things about it. Other than Opinels, I have not owned an actual friction folder, such as yours shown here. Since I admire simplicity, the concept appeals to me. One day I'll have to try one, or else make one of my own perhaps. I like the blade shape and size on the one you've created, and I like the handle shape, too. It reminds me of a Sodbuster's handle, but, like some ladies, it has a bit more of a broad butt. A certain degree of comfort is the likely result in both cases, however. I'm a big fan of the more basic Swiss Army Knives (the Victorinox Farmer, Pioneer, and Soldier), so I do like the bottle opener/screwdriver combo you've added to your friction folder. I'm old enough that I appreciate beers that still come in glass bottles with steel caps on them, too. :D
