Orange knives :-(

I like orange. I don’t think it’s any more or less common than yellow, red or green.
Of course blue and gold are more popular because you can anodize those colors on titanium. It’s a nice break from the OD, coyote and black G10 you see everywhere

There are some knives where orange handle scales wouldn't look as good, unless you're colour blind and you like that tone, with brown Delrin being the line for old timey folders. I've currently got 10 orange scale knives (I've added 4 more since I took this picture and I gave away my Mini Bugout).

I can't seem to find it, but there is a thread that is probably ongoing for a couple of years where folks show off their Orange. Would be worth looking up if you really want to know as there are some spectacular pieces all the way down to utility knives. All ages, too.

Oooooo weeee, I love that Buck 110 orange automatic! Never seen an orange one before. Did you get it directly from Buck?
No, I got it from a guy that was at the factory store fathers Day weekend sale a few years ago. He lives close by the factory in Post Falls. These were a special build out for a retail dealer. I guess they had some extras.

I dislike orange adorned knives greatly. I think I own one, maybe two...

....the aftermarket scales for the Swamp Wardens were rare enough that I was happy to grab the Orange when offered.

Depending where I am travelling and what I am doing at a given time I may add orange 550 or survey cord to some of my gear in the interests of making sure it can be found.

I'm not wild about entire solid handles in blaze orange, especially in FRN, rubber, plastic, g-10 etc.

The burnt/rust orange anodized aluminum like on microtechs is a bit better.

I don't mind orange as an accent color.
