Orange Leek (1660OR)

Hey! Nice to see you again Justin. I started taking vitamin C to get orange in my life since I've seen 0 orange knives in awhile.

Also, there is some SERIOUS color variation on these things. Weird, since they all came from the same company and should have all been from the first run. :eek:

Well, so much for the franken-leeks. Live and learn I guess. For future reference:

-Blades from a frame lock model will not fit a liner lock model.
-The plain edge Random Leek has a round pivot on the locking side instead of the standard hex found on other models, making it impossible to remove the screw.

Looks like I've got 3 regular orange leeks for no reason now. :o

Can you put the DAM blade on just for a pic? Not for me, Jim really wants to see how it would look if it worked. Can you put one orange on the non locking side?

So sexy!

weird though that you said a frame lock blade didn't work with liner lock handles. My composite blade fit right in my OD liner

Yeeeeeah I think I'm getting an orange leek too! Solid orange, are you keeping all three or would you sell me the darker one?

Wasn't even close on the damascus, either the blade was pinning the liner lock to one side, or the lock was holding the blade too high for the pivot to fit. It doesn't look bad with the silver frame lock on the opposite side though. I guess I'm used to it from having so many G10/Ti knives. :)

I'm actually keeping the darker one, got the damascus issue worked out, and have already sold the 3rd one. Thanks though! :thumbup:
