Orange Peel finish on Titanium?

How do you guys create an "orange peel" finish on titanium?

A Scotchbrite wheel is the way to go in my opinion, so far I use a belt though.


Options

Scotchbrite belt or wheel, run fast...

Metal Brush running fast- be careful!

Buffer - I still haven't perfected the orange peel with a buffer but it can be done, black compound seems to work on a well finished piece


It's all about the way you do it, experiment to find the right combo of pressure and speed.

Thanks! I'm always happy to help. Orange peeled Timascus sounds incredible!

I feel that heat is key along with touch, it is hard to describe the right amount of pressure but I can seem to feel when the effect happens. I use a belt though, I think a wheel would be better.
