The knife has been reground (full-flat, thin razor-sharp edge), black G10 spacer and orange G10 scales has been custom made (yes, scales are milled & liners still inside!). Polished screws, clip etc. Custom work by MarcinS.

And Mary is (of course) my daughter

He has his own forum on www.customknives.pl (this is Polish forum, but we speak english too) and you can find his gallery there. He's a full-time maker now. His work is extremely clean!

Really great looking knife. That orange is popping.
The full flat grind plus a thinner edge makes this blade a super slicer.(did that to mine also)

I love that knife! I remember it from the other thread and it is just great. If Spyderco was smart, they would produce one of these and let us give our money directly to them.

Even if it was $80-90 street price, people would line up to buy it. You can take a regular D-4 and put orange G-10 and flat grind the blade and sell it for almost twice as much. I have to believe that there is profit in there somewhere!

Spyderco, make this knife! We want to buy it!

I have to bump this thread. I can't get this knife out of my head. It is near perfect.

I have a Calypso 3 and I have been wondering why I don't carry it more often since it is similar to the D-4 in G-10. The reason is, the C-3 is heavy with the dual SS liners. It is kind of a brick.

About the only thing I prefer in the C-3 over the "Orange Razor" is that it has a wire clip.
