Good pick.
BTiLC is a most pleasurable guilty pleasure.
I also enjoy the scene in Bram Stoker's Dracula where Anthony Hopkins beheads the three vampire chicks with a big khuk. And yet a similar khuk only makes a bit of a gash in Dracula's neck... only to have Winona Rider finish the job with a bowie knife.![]()
The best Kukri in movie I've seen is the three storms in Big Trouble in Little China with Kurt Russel. They all three pull out kukris in unison, and then they all do a front flip and throw the kukris as they land. The kukris fly over and nail three dudes in the chest. Oh ya... good stuff.
And for us Bowie Lovers....What wrong with that, that proves that you can kill a vamp with a bowie.
Hey, not slammin' bowies, but the khuks looked MUCH more suited to an old fashioned nosferatu-decapitation. That's Hollywood for ya, with its parkour stupidity.![]()
Actually, it followed the book. Dracula really was dispatched with a bowie after being hurt by a kukri.
