I used to work for Astralwerks records as a street rep.. Fatboy Slim is amazing live.. saw him before that track was out. I don't know about The Chemical Brothers, when I saw them at Red Rocks outside of Denver they were so high they hardly finished their set. Anyway, I've probably said more than I should about myself and ruined the image of myself as always having been a Carharrt wearing knife carrying bad@$$ :) I suppose other than Rival nobody probably has any idea what I'm talking about. Or cares for that matter. I'm not sure I care either but I haven't commented regularly for awhile and thought I'd drop in randomly and toss out some random mostly off topic comment because it's a Friday, I had boring pointless waste of time meetings all days and that's the sort of stressed out mood I'm in.

I need to get more sleep. And be less weird.

Earlier at work someone said something about needing an easel to hang some banner and was going to borrow someone's personal one. Which then had me singing in my head my own cover of Depeche Mode and wanting to make a video for this contest with my dog's chew toy weasel. "Your own.. personal.. weasel.. something to make neighbors scared, something with hair".. yeah, it's that kind of day people!

its funny you mention the accent... i never really noticed how thick my minnesota accent was until today. There were a couple parts in the video as i watched that i was sure it wasnt even me talking anymore! I was like wtf? who is this guy? hahahahaha

Ok, I was a young lad, and we were in Australia. I saw GI Joe at the US Embassy. He felt sorry for me, and gave me his krein regrind Red kershaw skyline! It's got a mean sheepsfoot blade, perfect for my first knife. You can see it in the home video.

After the US Embassy, Dad wanted to get a drink, so we went to this pub and I was practicing my 2-handed opening technique because Mom said it's important to know how to not scare people/sheeple when I need to use my knife. So I'm opening and closing my knife when this drunkard tries to one up me with his Cold Steel fixed blade. He the asks me if I want to trade! It was as dull as a spoon and couldn't even cut paper! I told him what he could do with his Cold Steel, and he sulked away. We were all having a good time in the pub until Mom got in an argument with the bartender and slapped him. We had to leave, and then the bartender told Dad he couldn't take his open container outside! I swear I think he spilled half of it on purpose while trying to drink as much as he could before putting it down.

Later that day, we went to the parliament building, and the friggin security guard arrested me for trying to enter with a deadly weapon! I told him to eat my shorts, and then he got really irate. I was charged with possession of a deadly weapon, and disturbing the peace. Fortunately, I was able to get the charges dropped by apologizing to parliament. How embarrassing! At least they let me take my knife with me when we left the building. I had to ship it home instead of taking it in our luggage because something about TSA being incompetent. I still have the knife though!

A bunch of anywhos and my first knife story for your viewing pleasure! I am very stuffed up and have a severe sinus infection in this video. I lost my voice the day before and it just started to come back so I am very hoarse. I thought it would interesting to tell my story this way! My wife even said it sounds like another person!
