Well, I was thinking earlier about how we never restarted this thread when the KAI subforum closed, and figured why don't we get it going again :D :thumbup: If any other Order members want to help and start the other Order of Kai threads that'd be great :D

This is a place for all the members of the Order of Kai subgroup to chit, chat, shoot the breeze (amongst other things), and generally talk about whatever they may choose. The subject matter will vary, but the vibes will remain cool. Why? Because we're all good folk here, who just so happen to have a common problem, addiction to the Kai cutlery.

Rules For Hang-Outery:
1) You must be a member of the Order of Kai subgroup to hang out here.
2) No talk of "nutnfancy". He's annoying, and the group has spoken.

I just messaged the two guys that made the "Order of KAI sign-up thread" and the "Order of Kai Points Thread". They are two of the main guys in charge of the joining requirements. I asked if they could restart those threads and we'll see where it goes from there. Hopefully we can get it all back up and running again :thumbup:
 
So wait, you're going to post threads in the General Section that it is your expectation that only members of your special club can post in? LMAO Good luck with that, bruh. :thumbup:

What will be awesome is when a several page long scrap concerning the former KAI rep's dooshiness comes up. That should indeed be "joyous good times"!
 
Well if outsiders want to cause problems maybe its time to close some accounts instead of the thread

Outsiders? I'm sorry, I'm a paying member of this community, and this isn't the KAI subsection. There are no "outsiders" here. If you want to have a member's only thread, it kiiiiiinda needs to be in its own section, which thanks to Thomas' actions here got shut down (oh sorry, shut down at his request).

So, my point is, you can't just say "We're posting this thread in General, and we expect that only members of our specific club can post". Because I can tell you right now that won't be happening. I like Kershaw products and have many but I'm not a member of this group, however, if I read this thread and see something I want to respond to, I'm going to. Well, until it's locked anyway.
 
as long as it was civil I dont see a problem with everyone joining in. We didnt have discourse in the old group is all im saying

Just to get a feel for the ground rules you have set up, who decides what is differing opinion and what is uncivil?

And can we talk about "whatever [we] may choose" or do we have to talk about knives only. And what about nutnfancy?
 
If the thread is about knives and people come in to talk about old arguments, that might be trolling. No one is excluded, no club membership is required, but courtesy in a discussion forum should be expected. Joining a discussion to start an argument is wrong. Ten points wrong.

Well I have no quarrel with the "no nutnfancy" rule...the dude's a knucklehead, in my opinion. I just know that not all (crazy as that seems!) agree with me.

Hopefully the thread works out! :thumbup:
