So, the first look threads are up, and of course, people are complaining about the most inane crap. Finally, a smaller 0560 like EVERYONE wanted... Ermahgerd! Ner Turturnium!?!? Fuuuuuuuu! Ridiculous. The fact that they made the Speedsafe optional is brilliant, absolutely brilliant. And that 0801? Come on, people complain that they don't want an all titanium handle... Unbelievable. Oh well. I'm just happy that these designs are out, they look fabulous, and I'm going to (hopefully) handle them at Blade Show.

So, I'm sure a bunch of you guys are going, and may already have plans. We doing a get together? Or perhaps try to get a small group going on the show floor so we can harass the people at KAI all at once? I'm going to attempt to do some booth videos and reviews with Kershaw and ZT, I'll have to try talking to Thomas to see if that's possible, to get a small bit of time to talk to them. *crosses fingers*





I'll sell you mine at quite the price after I do my video on it this week. Already put a 30* inclusive edge on it with the EP.

The 0566 complaining is ticking me off too. A couple people on USN have stated "I am gonna wait to see how it works de-assisted before I buy it." When I specifically stated it works without the assist :rolleyes:. It is going to be a dominator in it's price range for sure. Flipper, elmax, steel framelock, Hinderer design, Zero Tolerance made, in the USA, with the option of assist or non. Seriously how could it get better?

I know right? Nothing is ever good enough for some people i guess...

I think the 0566 and 0801 are at the top of my list of knives to buy this year (I hope they come out this year) ZT seems to be kicking it into overdrive this year.

The only problem with the 0566 is... Now I have to buy a 0560 :D. So I can compare. I like that the 0566 has a full handle despite the blade being smaller. I never understood the handle to blade ratio complaint either.

Hardy...har...har... :p Oh man, the abuse I used to get as a kid with that Super Mario deal. As it turns out, it's my second favorite video game franchise. Mario Kart is always my system seller. If they make Mario Kart for a system, I buy it. It sold the 3DS for me, and when they have it for the Wii U...I'll get that sucker too.

Anyway, forgive the self-quoting whininess. I'm so damn bored at work, and trying not to just eat all the emergency snacks.

Titanium and KVT! The one thing I really dislike about the ss framelocks are the really wide gaps in the cutout. I'd pay $200 for a smaller version of the 560 anytime. For the same bladesteel and construction, why not?
 
Haha, you guys are all cracking me up about the Mario jokes. I'm feeling for ya Stick. I would get so much crap about being short. I'll be looking for that Blade video.

Onto the knives, I just don't understand why people have to constantly complain about something. I tend to stay away from reading all of the complaints, but people amaze me with the amount of crap they talk about. I get very heated when people complain. It's just annoying.

I do like the looks of all the knives, but the wallet will be screaming if I purchase all of them. Slow and steady. I'm hoping within the next 5 years I'll be able to attend the Factory Sale and either SHOT or Blade.

Laugh it up. My friends would put things like my pens/pencils on top of the teachers bookshelf. I entered my freshman year at a whopping 5 foot and 1 inches tall. Even people that were an inch or two taller the me would call me short.

Dont worry, everyone with unique names undergoes some abuse :D. My names Steeley and people always asked if it was because I stole. Eh Steely Dan is a great band.
