You'll get over it man. I used to baby my Buck vantage pro when I was first getting into nicer knives. I didn't want to cut anything with it because I couldn't sharpen anything back then. I got over it when I got my sharpmaker and used it a bunch. I'm glad I did, too. it was a great cutter.
Ever used an Opinel Seelow? Worth the $20 bucks to mess with geometry that thin :D.

Yes actually, I have a no. 7 carbon that I modded a bit. I never really thought about taking it thin before but now You got the idea brewing. Fantastic idea good sir:thumbup: Have you done any experiments to yours?

That is stock. But between that and a Tom Krein I had. It was what brought me to the dark side of thinness. Not sure I would want to take an Opinel much thinner lol. It is about as thick as a piece of printer paper at the edge.
