really? My user DLC The Coating is coming off the Flipper I use it so much and is Solid as a Rock

In the interest of full disclosure (and off-topic), I listen to pop music. That means most pop music. As a musician, I felt the need to respect all music, and that inadvertently led to my liking all music. I have more fun playing pop music despite the fact that playing funk, blues, Broadway scores, and metal is more rewarding (each in its own, very distinct way). So there.

its audible, and the bar moves slightly if you put pressure on the top (non-edge) side of the blade. Locks up fine, in terms of strength, its just irritating. I wanna try and have it carbidized.

I respect all music but pop but I will listen to Skrillex (Guilty pleasure, I guess but I'm not guilty) I play guitar and normally play heavier metal but I like to drift into some 80s pop and definitely blues. Todays pop isn't really music as far as I'm concerned but I'm very opinionated about music.

As am I. I take issue with the idea of "Today's pop" as if it's actually an accurate inclusion. Being someone who listens to as much music as possible, the distinction of "today's pop" is a bit of a false one. 80's pop music is actually much more similar across each artist than anything you'll find on the radio today. It's likely that my involvement on a semi-professional level with music (including pop) has my perception a bit different though, so that's worth noting.

I'm mostly referring to crap like "Call me maybe" and garbage from Justin Beaver. I do realize it's a fairly broad genre. Do you play for a living? I know you play drums but do you play anything else? I've always wanted to try drums but I'm busy enough with guitar for now.I admit my brother, my buddy John and I like to blast some "Take me home tonight" by Eddie Money while we're driving. Totally brutal.

I'm listening to some Lamb of God ATM

Any of our order of KAI brothers living in Portland Or? I found a 1515st for $45 and a 1580mc for $60. I wanted the boa but the guy won't ship.

They listen in secrecy with each other but they'll never fess up to it.

I've listened to BTP before and liked it but I do prefer albums like Ashes of the wake and As the palaces burn. All of their music is great though I just prefer those two albums over the others.

Ah, The Sword. Talking about Trivet Wingo was always fun. He's not their drummer anymore though...oh well.

I don't play for a living, unfortunately. Being in school as much as I have been lately has kept me from being as active as I used to be, but I've done quite a bit of session work over the last several years. Gigs from singer/songwriter type stuff to reggae tracks, to rudimentary beats for hip-hop artists to mix into their tracks. Sometimes the money was good, sometimes it was work in exchange for my own studio time. I studied music formally for a short time, hated it, went on to study literature. The Aaron Copeland School at Queens College was a good experience though.

I don't really play much other than percussion. I can play quite a bit of it outside of a traditional kit, as well as melodic percussion, but I'm not of those guys who could easily lay down a full band track on his own.

I've been slowly writing my own album, primarily music to drum-jerk to. It's difficult, since I have only a listed ability on a bass guitar and a keyboard, everything else I have to call in favors from people who likely would rather be doing other things than more free session work. I'll dig up some old tracks I've done and post them here for you guys.

@steel the sword is awesome thanks for showing them to me, do you listen to amon amarth, viking metal.

That is tight man. I love music. I used to play Bass guitar and piano. You will have to post some of your stuff!

I'd love to hear some of you music Mario:thumbup: I can't check out what Chester and Steeley (I'm going to call you Steeley from now on because I like the way it sounds. Hope you're cool with that broham:)) My brother's playing BF3 and it will probably lag him out a bit if I play some vids. I Freya already but haven't heard the other two so I'll have to check them out tomorrow. I love hearing new music. Anybody ever listen to Mike Bloomfield? He was an extremely talented Blues Guitarist IMHO.

Oh yah! I love Amon Amarth. I Declare War reminds me of Impending Doom some. I will post a few more I like.

I can dig some Amon Amarth. My buddy Kevin (Same guy who introduced my to In Flames) Showed me some of their work. It's pretty rad.
