Yeah I was just saying around here because some places have a little in stock but not around here because it is so pro gun that people are cleaning the shelves just like we are gonna clean Dave out of that damascus when it comes in. Simply because people want to get it while they can. I was amazed to see Glocks have gone up to 600-700 dollars, aside from the competition Glocks they have always been a 500 dollar gun across the board. Supply and demand is a killer.

I agree with Greenie the LC9 is a good option, or a Ruger LCR in 357. I just picked up a LCR for my wife. I carry a Walther PPS 9mm, it's out of that price range though.
 
I like the LCR too but my mother is at least 60 now so I would be getting her a 38 in revolver or a .380/9mm in an automatic. I want a round I have faith in but can't give her a .357 it's just too much for what her hand strength is these days. If it comes to it my sp101 will shoot .38 special or 357 mag so I can load it with .38's for her.

That Mantis case is just ridiculous. They embarrass themselves more and more every time something new comes out. TotalD, nice taste in music. I listened to a handful of those a few years back- Been listening to mostly metal nowadays.

We wrapped a few layers of that plastic packaging wrap around the sides first so the backboard wouldn't scratch. There's also a folded sheet inbetween as well. Its all fun and games until someone scratches the Chief's car. :eek: :D

Any 357 will shoot .38's. I think .38+p's are great for self defense. I suggested the .357 LCR because its a little heavier than the .38 model so the recoil will be less even with the .38's.
 
Just got done wrapping up the knives I'm trading. Now I have get the shipping label and I'll be good to go.
