I had to roll my eyes and say WTF after seeing this story. She thought she was going to die after being trapped for a mere 12 hours? Seriously? Stick, please tell me those city slickers aren't that bad!

Who really thinks that if they are stranded in New York of all places especially near the city not in the Catskills, Adirondacks, or Appalachians that they are going to die? I mean even if it was 24hrs. I would be cold and pissed but not thinking I'm about to see the pearly gates! Either walk out or build a fire and shelter. Honestly Darwin, Why!?

On the subject of the lady dying on the highway from the snow... No comment. A lot of New Yorkers are odd like that. If it's gang violence, drug trafficking, police brutality and military with assault rifles in Penn Station, they don't bat an eye. Any natural disaster and they go bonkers. A lot of city people aren't that bad though. The bonkers usually comes in the form of complaining and threats. Get a woman talk about it publicly and it's a different story.
Me? If I thought I wasn't getting out of there, I'd have gotten out and walked. It's what I always do. Blackout? I walked home from Stony Brook University. Storm shut down the MTA? I walked home from Manhattan. My family (parents and sister) are like that, we all grew up that way. My wife? Meh, not at all. It's strange to typecast people, but I am a bit ashamed when they publicize stuff like that story...
Hurricane Sandy though...that's a different story...

Got my 0200kw in from dave. Its stonewashed, and awesome. It's a lot of knife for the money. Believe it or not the tip is actually a lot thinner then the rest of my ZT's, blade stock is the same thickness.
