It closes it. I have supergue in my head, from when I cracked it open as a kid.

Super glue will bond to skin almost instantly. In a pinch, it can be used to close a wound and stop bleeding, but I wouldn't plan to use it for anything longer than immediate emergency treatment. There are liquid bandages that apply using a small brush (not unlike white-out) that will disinfect and leave a protective film over a cut. There are also some powdered coagulants (eg. WoundSeal) that can also stop bleeding and cause a scab to form very quickly.
