Alot of people ignore me too stick so don't feel bad :D.

Huh? What's that you said? :D

Good point, I'll make another one tomorrow when I'm less busy. I'm excited for the goodies though!

Cool. I think you'll get some more responses that way and I'll PM you for an address when I've got enough things to send. Didn't make it to the store today as planned, wanted to start the MG but the trickle charger didn't give the battery enough juice to do it. Oh well.

What'd you pay for it if you don't mind me asking? Maybe you could ask Jim what a good price would be to sell one.

I think we'll need to see what the no reserve one goes for on there before you might be able to outright sell yours. That being said, you'll probably get a buyer tonight for it. Most times if I throw any guesses out there, I'm proven wrong almost immediately. Karma likes to smack me around like that. Edit: I saw what the last NR one ended for and yeah, if that's the neighborhood then you should be able to offload yours for that or really close to it. Cool! I had no idea they were up there in that range!

Why wouldn't you want a polished edge? I've never heard that before.
I like polished edges, but if I'm doing some serious cutting, I could care less if the edge was polished. I would want something like a toothy edge instead of a hair whittling edge.

I believe if you want a toothy edge you stop at a lower grit, though I could be wrong.

Question: If you don't want a polished edge, would you stop at your desired grit and strop?
Yes. And make no mistake you can still get hair whittling edges with low grits. I can get hair whittling off a brown Spyderco Ceramic no problem.

If you are doing a lot of pull cutting or slicing a lower grit edge will aid in cutting. Polished edges help more in push cuts versus slicing.

Went hiking today at Hanging Rock in Danbury NC. Beautiful day...got some cool pics with one of my favorite knives..

I'll have them Up when I'm at my computer later tonight....wish I could have had my 0777 with me but it's on vacation at KAI :)
