I grew up on Alice in Chains (Along with a bunch of other 90s grunge bands) "Nutshell" is my favorite song of theirs. Have you seen the Unplugged video? It's pretty epic but Layne seems pretty screwed up.

That's a great one! I like no excuses, and especially down in a hole the live version. Yeah he was trying to get through the withdrawal but you could tell he was hurting. At one point he was throwing up and Jerry took over for a few verses. My other favorite band from that era is Live. Absolutely love them. Seen them in concert quite a few times! One for f my local Pa. bands from York.

Figured. I saw the Rockies play the Mariners this past weekend
Cool. I've been to a few Tiger's games. I'm hoping we'll be able to go this year.

Fixed that for ya.

Nope. It's because nutncrunchy loves the "EPA," swears by it, and has stopped looking for another sharpener. That's a clear signal for me to go ahead and move the hell on. My hatred for him knows few limits. On account of that, I put the Edge Pro on the chopping block and picked up a Wicked Edge.

Damn. I hate the guy, too but I am not about to give up my Edge Pro because of him. It is kind of embarrassing to use the same system that he uses. I bet I can get better edges than he can though.

Ah, Down in a hole is beautiful! The chorus on that song is magnificent. Layne Staley probably has the most unique and recognizable voices out there and it's really a shame that he died. especially from drugs.

Live is amazing as well. One of my favorites from them is Lakini's juice. I love the orchestra towards the end. Didn't they break up? I thought I remember seeing something about the singer being difficult to work with and going on to do his own thing.

Chester whats the deal with that 0560? How did he get the CF scale

I think Thomas may have given him that one. I know that's the guy who messed up the edge of a 0560 cutting zip ties and I think I remember Thomas being around at that point in time and sending him a new one. That's probably where he got it (Maybe)

How exactly did you find this out?

Oh and dbag I think I'm going to pick up a spyderco fine bench stone!! (The 2" by 8")
I'm going to start off by getting the Spyderco ultra fine stone. (This one)
jdavis speaks highly of it.

A friend showed me his review of it, and I damn near puked in my soup. I just couldn't look at the sharpener the same again...it was...dirty. Sure, it's likely a psychosis, but oh well! At least I admit it. :D

I could do, from seeing the crap he did to his crap knives. My edges off the Edge Pro were fantastic, save for a couple of kitchen knives I just botched up long ago.

I'm not saying you or anyone else should give up theirs. What I did wasn't particularly rational, and the crunchynut thing was really only part of the reason. Truthfully I had been thinking about it, but that was the straw that broke the zombie's back.

That makes sense :D I remember that, didn't realize it was him

The BK11 I won in that giveaway should be here Thursday. I'm also expecting the little nuts that go on the end of the Skylines body screws. Yes I know that last sentence sounded bad.

Stick, what did you get with the Wicked Edge? Did you get the Pro Pack I or II or the normal system? I know it'll be a couple weeks, but can you do a little review after you've sharpened a couple knives?

cool!! But one question: are you going to start on you're lansky and then finish on that's stone? Because (and you probably already know this) but that as far as I'm concerned is a finishing stone, unless you already have some of the lower grits (medium and fine) I would Postpone buying the ultra fine and get the medium and fine first....but do as you wish! it's you're money!.....although I'm definitely getting that ultra fine at some point haha!

Yea, I'm going to start on the lansky, so I know I got a good angle down. Then I'm going to finish on that. I'm mostly doing this because 1) I still need to work on keeping consistent angles. And 2) It'll take longer for me to completely F:Dck up my angle on a finer stone.

What are your guy's favorite T.V. Shows besides ones like Family Guy, American Dad, Futurama, South Park, etc.? I almost exclusively watch the Discovery Channel, History Channel, and the National Geographic Channel. I also watch a little bit of BBCA and truTV. The sports channels are a different story. They compete with the other channels.

Ok cool....if your gonna practice you're free hand I'd pick up a cheaper buck in 440C (vantage, buck light, batam, ect) it's hard enough to provide a chaleng and will take a great edge!

What grip is it? I saw your Cuscadi scales, those where hot. I bit the bullet and picked up a Shot Show 2013 Grip I've been drooling over since they where announced. I haven't kept one Benchmade I've owned so far so we'll see if this one lasts.

If I remember right it's a M4 blade....
