You should throw a couple magnets around the WE to help keep the metal shavings from getting in the arms. Learned it from jdavis882 .Sorry guys, I'm just really astounded. I finished at the 1000 grit, and went through the 5 micron and 3.5 micron strops. Wow. This is ridiculously sharp. I was thinking of getting the ceramic stones, but looking closely at this edge after stropping has me very very satisfied. A tiny amount of polish and sheen on the bevel, but a slightly discernible scratch pattern. It is so choice.
Tomorrow, I'm going to throw the Leatherman Wave on here, and then a Skyline. This thing already feels worth the money. The fact that it's dry is also preferable. There isn't really much mess here, and the steel dust is pretty minimal. I'm having great luck just picking it all up with a Swiffer duster. I took one right out of the box and it cleans off the knife as well as the whole sharpener pretty well.
You know what really amazes me though? The tip of the knife is perfect. Needle sharp, every time.
Alrighty, back to your regular conversation.![]()
I hate sitting down and watching movies......especially with the family as no one knows how to shut-up.The Camp 10 got a workout tonight, batoned some wood for a fire to roast some marshmallows for the kids. Also started my first fire with my firesteel. Cotton balls soaked in vasoline starts a fire really quick with the firesteel. Currently watching Predator. Loves me some classic Schwarzenegger.

Then you're thinking to yourself throughout the whole movie "Why the F was this MY fault?!?"then when you ask them to be quiet you get the "look"....
