Apparently Jimmer sent it back with the knife when it was sent in for warranty work, looks amazing in person.

I'll post pics of the zoo later tonight if possible. Uploading all of those to Photobucket is gonna take awhile, so I'll be up late again.

So far I've only done kitchen knives on the Wicked Edge, and got some pretty good results. Tonight I'm doing my first folding knife, the Cryo. I'm only up to 600 grit and ho-ly-crap this is fantastic. It's much easier doing a blade that's more rigid.

I have to say, the WE is orders of magnitude more enjoyable than the EP. This is enjoyable to do, and results come really quickly. This is phone book cutting sharp, and I'm not not done yet. Huzzah!

I got all of the pictures uploaded and I even uploaded some videos.

Stick, you're making me jealous of the WE.

Sorry guys, I'm just really astounded. I finished at the 1000 grit, and went through the 5 micron and 3.5 micron strops. Wow. This is ridiculously sharp. I was thinking of getting the ceramic stones, but looking closely at this edge after stropping has me very very satisfied. A tiny amount of polish and sheen on the bevel, but a slightly discernible scratch pattern. It is so choice.

Tomorrow, I'm going to throw the Leatherman Wave on here, and then a Skyline. This thing already feels worth the money. The fact that it's dry is also preferable. There isn't really much mess here, and the steel dust is pretty minimal. I'm having great luck just picking it all up with a Swiffer duster. I took one right out of the box and it cleans off the knife as well as the whole sharpener pretty well.

You know what really amazes me though? The tip of the knife is perfect. Needle sharp, every time.

Alrighty, back to your regular conversation. :D

You should throw a couple magnets around the WE to help keep the metal shavings from getting in the arms. Learned it from jdavis882 .

Also, if you don't mind me asking as I know it's a lot of coin, what package did you get?

The Camp 10 got a workout tonight, batoned some wood for a fire to roast some marshmallows for the kids. Also started my first fire with my firesteel. Cotton balls soaked in vasoline starts a fire really quick with the firesteel. Currently watching Predator. Loves me some classic Schwarzenegger.

I hate sitting down and watching movies......especially with the family as no one knows how to shut-up.

These pictures are in no specific order. I randomly uploaded them because there were a lot. Also, it may be hard to tell what's in some of the pictures.

Today in the Order of Kai we take a trip to the zoo...

I have cheated on you brothers, I'm trying out an emerson cqc 15, I've always liked that design, one was in the exchange for a price I couldn't pass up.

Then you're thinking to yourself throughout the whole movie "Why the F was this MY fault?!?"

Yeah, that sounds right....what's really funny is when they start watching the movie and you start talking, and then they look at you like "what the hell is wrong with you?"....meh (hypocrites)
