I had that same knife except with a black blade and hardware. I loved the knife... but the handles were just so darn slick that i couldnt get a good purchase on it. Amazing build quality though. I love integral folders.

Yeah the handles are pretty slick but I'm cool with it. I could definitely see where it could get slippery when using it for prolonged amounts of time though.

That's the only reason I traded it to you. Kept felling like I was going to drop it and mess up the beautiful finish.

I just picked up a green sr1a but it is very stiff is yours that way too?

A couple of my other pickbups in last week.

Anyone know how to make the sebenza as smooth as the alias is?

I actually kind of baby it. I'll cut whatever I need to without a second thought but I will think twice about where I put it down at just in case there's something that will screw up the anodizing

Mine was a little stiff at first but it loosened up and is butter now. I'd say just let her break in by opening and closing it a bunch. I would not take it apart though. It's quite a pain in the arse to get back together.

You can't make the Sebenza as smooth as the Alias. I had both and tried. Tried messing with the pivot, tried breaking it in, still was never as smooth and that thumb stud just poked the heck out my thumb. Ended up selling the Sebenza and keeping the Alias. The finish on the Alias also holds up better. My Sebenza scratched very easy. The Alias has held up great.
 
Breaking this Griptilian in is making my thumb raw. This is the sharpest knife I've ever received from the factory. Half of my inner leg is naked. What would you guys compare 154CM to?
