Just got this sexy beast in. Didn't think I needed one since I have a 0560 but after holding it in my hand I was wrong!
 
probably shouldnt have bothered.... and telling mods they can close it, thats just dumb. Like telling a cop, u can give me a ticket, i dare u

Stick my advice for buying flashlights is get a macs custom ti edc or a McGizmo, and be done with em. Save your self money in the long run. Buy the best and only cry once.

As a consumer I have the right to express things I do, and do not like. Do I like beadblasted finishes? Nope. Do I bring it up at times? Yep. In me vocalizing my opinion, I am hoping the consumer will take notice and perhaps do different finishes.

If issues were never brought up by consumers, then how can the company know what is displeasing their customers? Sure there are right and wrong ways to go about such things. There are a lot of knives I won't buy because of things that I don't like. The knife itself may not be inherently bad, it just may not suit my tastes. There will still more than likely be one hundred people that do like it. For each person that doesn't.

I do not expect perfection out of production knives. If I am expecting that I go custom. But some people don't seem to realize that humans are not perfect, thus their knife darn well may not come to them a perfect product :p.

Just my $0.02 :D.
 
What a fantastic day it is today! Isnt it? The temps up here reached around 60+ and its finally sunny..but thats not the best part.

I FINALLY got the promotion i have been promised for the past year. My boss has been taunting me with the possibility of moving up in the company since last may, and a couple weeks ago, a guy up and quit... so now its my turn!
I have hated my job for a long time now, but bearing down and trudging along through the crap has payed off! Not only will my job be a lot less stressful, but i will also be getting an extra 1.50 an hour... you know what that means? EXTRA...KNIFE...MONEY :)

Im itching to get my hands on a flame treated SMF CC to throw in my EDC rotation. Im just not a fan of the lego striders...

Once I get enough money saved for the 0600.

Meh, to me its just that...hype. Granted they make a nice knife, but for the money I appreciate and use my AG Russell Acies and Acies2 a lot more. A full blade's worth of ZDP and a Ti frame...and they are made by Kersahw.

Thanks for telling me about the Acies. I think I'd like that a lot more.
 
The first one is out of production now. Only 800 or so were done. The 2 is a smaller knife, along the lines of a small Sebenza, just a hair under 3". Still a good value for the price, but if smaller folders aren't your thing you most likely won't like it. They also have a great 3" knife in their Gentlemen's Folder. Ti and VG-10. Looks almost identical to the Acies2 at under a buck thirty.

Aww man, the weather has been a little bit higher than my liking, but it beats raining every day.

Congratulations on the promotion! Knice (haha) to see you moving up in the world (I felt like saying that).






We got our yearbooks. I might post a picture of myself. My picture reminds me that I need to get a buzz-cut. I usually have a limit to how long my hair can get and that's when I can look up and see a couple hairs.

Couldn't have stated it any better. My feelings exactly.
 
Don't anyone get me wrong either. I think Kershaw makes a great product. I would like to see them use more S30V though. For what it is worth, I think the Spyderco Southard clip doesn't fit the curves of the knife at all. Oh, I better go start a thread about it! :D. I jest, I jest.
