Im not positive, my first knives (being that i have to learn how to do grinds and all that nonsense... will prbably start out with some carbon steels. i like 1085 for working fixed blades. Pretty resilient, and holds an edge. I have been beating the crap out of my Esee Junglas and have had no problems so far. As for the sheath, I love Kydex, so im going to find a good sheathmaker and send him/her some work :)

I heard that azwelke does some nice kydex work.

I used to be a pretty avid Call of Duty player, but I haven't done anything video game related, let alone Call of Duty related in a couple months. I may have gotten online once, but I only played for maybe 10 minutes before I got bored. I'm starting to have withdrawal symptoms, especially with Call of Duty because I just saw an advertisement for Call of Duty: Ghost before watching a video.

Do you have any tiny countersink bits? I have some extra female threaded pieces that kershaw uses on pocket clip screws etc. I can send em over to yah if you want to try having an anchored clip instead of just threading it into the g10.

I have a few of those actually, but I think I'm going with the G10. My orange Skyline held up perfectly, and I really don't think it'll be a problem. If it ends up wearing out I can always drill out an accomodation for the threaded female receivers later on. :D Thanks though buddy.

Which ZT fixed blades do you have sir?
 
I'd probably like it more if it didn't show up Dull as hell and me having zero sharpening skills outside of chef knives lol. Has a great look and feel to it.
