Ever see Hot Fuzz? Same duo, good for a few laughs.

What was so funny about it was that it had so many nerdy references. (star wars, alien, star trek, E.T, Indiana Jones, they play the Cantina band in a bar, Close encounters of a third kind, Back to the Future, Lorenzo's Oil, and a few more)

There is a halarious scene, but I can post it on here because of language.

Simon pegg and Nick Frost are going to be in a new movie this year. I think it's called "Worlds End" It's an Edgar Wright film (same guy that did Hot Fuzz and Shaun of the Dead) My brother and I are going to see it the day it comes out. We're big fans of Edgar Wright/Simon Pegg.

Some crazy stuff is going on.......

Holy crap, some people are complete morons.
I posted this pic on ZT's Facebook page, and this is a conversation I have with a moron.

This is the first thing he posts.
"what's up with the tassels supposed to loop around your wrist so that they don't slip in your hand when covered in blood"

I don't respond.

He then posts this
"r u into military grade tactical knives?"

I post....

"Not necessarily"

He replies with.....

"the ones with the hole on the hilt are tactical made for hand to hand combat instead of say cutting rope.designed to cut flesh instead. I like Spyderco knives commissioned for police and elite military"

I finally reply with.....

"@blah blah. I'm going to have to disagree with you in almost every single way.
1) the hole in the handle is for a LANYARD, and it's most commonly called a lanyard hole. The main purpose of a lanyard is, a) to make pocket extraction easier, b) give you more grip if a knife has a small uncomfortable handle, and c) it's a way to store paracord. And almost every single knife on the market today has them.
2) the features on the handle have very little impact on how a knife is meant to perform, and the features you are talking about DON'T impact it's purpose. The blade geometry, stock, etc decides whether,or not "it's designed to cut flesh".
I'd recommend reading up a bit into this hobby before trying to teach others about it. Or at least don't try to teach those who obviously have a lot invested on this hobby."

If he comments again with something stupid, I'll just delete it, since it's my post.

People never seem to stop surprising me

So many movies I want to see I just don't have the time. Iron man 3, fast and furious 6, man of steel...

Ok, the first, and last one I understand, but the middle one???

Yup, seen all the other ones and since they have switched from racing movies to heist movies I am intrigued again. I remember when the first two came out and everyone loved them. They just fell out of popularity but being 27 I don't really care about that anymore.
