I liked Horizon for what it was. I only played it for a couple hours, but I enjoyed it. One thing that I want to learn with Forza is how to tune my own damn car. That stuff is wayyy to complicated and time consuming for me. I usually just fully upgrade a car and call it good.

The only thing I mess with is the gears. And I only do that occasionally.

The owner of the company I work for (McLeod Racing) is in the middle of building one of these with either a Keith Black 528 or a new 6.1 hemi with a big blower on it. It will sit on an Art Morrison 3 link tube chassis and make in the neighborhood of 1K HP at the tires. Should be a good time...

I'm not much of a video game fan...but isn't the Xbox one supposed to have disks that will only work on the system they were first played on?

Cool, though if I'd ever be able to get one, I'd probably want one completely original.

No idea. After reading on the Forza 5 forums, I guess Forza 5 is exclusive to the Xbox One. :mad::grumpy::mad:. I guess I'll just play Forza 4.

Awesome job! I'm jealous! That chassis alone is an expensive one!

Sucks for you! Gt 6 will be on the ps3 around the holidays!

Tuning the cars is the fun part for me. I have a track I pick for different cars and run those cars exclusivly there and then tune and tune and tune until I get it in a sweet spot. Its fun to just change settings and see the times drop 1-2-3 or so seconds.
I also love using off beat cars for different events just to be different. Its fun to beat people with something they would never have thought to pick because they use the same 3 popular cars everytime.
Lastly I have been wanting to get a nice wheel setup with a chair, just never got around to it. Its super expensive!

I was never a big fan of GT until I played GT 5 on my buddies PS3. I have a PS3 at my dad's house so I might pick up GT6 and jump on in.

I think It's pretty cool how a couple tweaks here and there can shave seconds off a cars time. Like I said, I can't tune to save my life, but I'm going to attempt it on something cheap to get the hang of it before spending a big wad of cash on something expensive and ruining it.
 
Daymon I'm pretty sure you can save tunning setups. Just save the stock setup, tune the car, and load the stock setup if you screw it up.
There was one r1 car that I made A LOT faster, when I changed the gearing around.

And I never liked gt5. I played it, but found out I hated it really quickly.

Do it! Its not like its real money or anything! You can always just reset to default and start again you know! I've done that many a times!

I have this weird thing that makes me feel like I'm cheating if I do something like that. It makes me feel like I'm taking the easy way out, and I hate taking the easy way out.

How in the world is getting the most out of your car cheating? ~I just bought these shocks and springs but I can't adjust the settings because it will be like cheating! Better not put sports tires or slicks on your car that would be cheating too!

Well why you no say that in the first place?
Thats why when you do it in real life you write down your bases in a log and have them to go back to! My cousins B.F. is a dirt tracker in NY and PA with the wing cars. Thats what they do for setups and he's pretty damn good! I'll have to see if I can find any vids or pics.
