It can be used, you might violate a couple rules, but it can be used. I have this thing called a PM too.

Lets tell some jokes lol (I'm Irish so it's totally acceptable for me to tell this joke)

How many potatoes does it take to kill an Irishman?

I saw it while watching a cutlerylover video.

Wow that is funny. That is actually how I started out on Youtube. Then I mirror polished a Packrat and some people wanted to know how. So I did a video on that, and took off from there.

Materials used
  • The blade is 154-CM
  • The Handles are 3-D machined G10
  • The liners are skeletonized stainless steel

Blade shape
  • good all around blade shape for just about everything (in my opinion) the recurve makes for a great slicer. I use it for yard work quite often and it flys through small branches and just about every thing else I can throw at it for that matter. the only downside to me is it's a bit of a challenge to sharpen, it would be fairly easy if I had a sharpmaker/lansky though.

Lock
  • It's a liner lock, and a very stout one at that. No blade play up, down, left, or right. Very smooth, and it doesn't stick. The detent is quite strong on my example (giving it a great flipping action)

Pocket clip
  • The 0200 uses the standard Kershaw/Zero Tolerance clip good retention and over all design. Tends to tear up the pockets after awhile. Over all it's a great clip.

Ergonomics
  • like most Ken onion design the ergonomics are excellent, it really locks into the hand and is quite comfy. The texture on he G10 along with the thumb ramp/jimping really help keep it in your hand. I've heard some people find the choil uncomfortable, I haven't noticed any discomfort and I would guess its more due to bigger hands (which I do have so maybe I'm just part of the minority)

Steel
  • The steel is 154-CM. good edge retention, corrosion resistance (especially with the DLC coating) and easy to sharpen.

Deployment
  • Very easy, the over sized thumb studs work like a charm and the flipper works well!

Random points I want to touch on
solid steel pivot (it's not hollow)

What you get
  • an AMERICAN made knife for under $150 using premium materials with one of the best warranties out there.
