LMAO...so apparently two of the people coming to our potluck have 14 year old boys *sigh* guess I'll be hiding my knives and just try and put up with them:grumpy: HELP ME!?!?!?!?!? Daymon, Mark? Anyone? I just pray they aren't some tac-force fanboys:eek: seriously, before this it could have been a nice relaxing night with good food...now I have to "be a gracious host" ¥€>?€\?|>{*€]'&$!/?/&2¡/9@1$!&'!?,.!M!.!!ing

Oh the joys of being a host :D. I got a Spyderco Sage 2, and I cannot decide if the handle is too small or not. Gosh darn, having big hands has some downsides.

Yes...joy is the exact word I would use. And I also have big hands lol.

What is going on around here. Now Zero Tolerance is making sissy lala knives ?

Oh absolutely! Ya know if it weren't for those Hinderer whatevers, they wouldn't have any practical knives at all. It's all their fault that they intentionally make knives that people don't use. ;)

I had a Sage 2 for a while. It's really a great knife. It's got a lot of that "pocket knife" charm that I like. I always used it with the finger choil portion, never actually grabbed it only by the handle. It seemed to work fine that way all the time after a little getting used to. I think you made a wise purchase.

It's actually a bit smaller, but I like the ergonomics better. :)

I hate to always disagree with you, but I just cannot warm up to the Native. The back lock is inconvenient and doesn't feel so great with a one handed opener...

Different strokes for different folks. :) I would much rather surround myself with people that will give me their honest opinions. I don't appreciate people that tell me what I want to hear regardless of their personal opinion.

I wonder how many people cringe at the thought of me sharpening my cbcf the night I got it and making it my off work edc. The bevel is a bit uneven where I got impatient reprofiling as well

Dear lord sir, are you sure that limited run can handle any kind of use? Hard use is an obvious no no, maybe it can stand up to moderate string cutting ;) :D.

I will see if I warm up to it.

Yah, thank God for Hinderer. Otherwise Zero Tolerance would only be making safe queens with slippery carbon fiber :D.

I have the opposite mindset of many people. To many the more they spend the more worried they are of damaging it, for me the more expensive it is the more I want to carry it, use it, and show it off. People who know me are always asking if I have gotten any knives lately because they know I am usually carrying the best I can afford. Times are tough for the time being so it will be months before I can buy some more but all I can say is soon... Soon. Anyway I have to live vicariously through you guys for now so as the new awesomeness hits the streets just remember, there is no such thing as too many pictures and videos :)

Glad to hear I'm not the only one. I have the FRN version. Been debating trying out the Native5, as maybe it's in the particular execution (although I've quite liked my other Spyderco FRN lockbacks). Anyway, it's pretty low on the priority list.

My thought on it is if I'm going to spend that kind of money on it, I'm going to get some use out of it.
