Order of KAI sign-up thread - OPEN SIGN-UP

well this is a good thing ! ! ! but i have a question... as you probably know KAI / Kershaw has a sale every year... do i get points for being the first one in line for the sale? and yes i still have all the first in line door prizes i have received... favorite one was the last one, a complete set of Shun Classics for my wife's kitchen. if i am not mistaken they took my photo and i was in the company newsletter.

I'm in. You've put a lot of work into this, thank you. If you can put me in between jonnymac44 and PG that would be great. 0005, 0010.
As for points, I'll make an effort to figure that out. Current estimate would be 150+.

you get points for visiting the factory. As long as your not one of those guys holding spots in line for people.

Good to have you, it was more work than I expected it to be. Luckily I had a good amount of help form jimw451, bad_juju and SolidOrange. You are #0005
 
I'd like to join. I should have 8 points (7 now, 8th in a couple weeks if that is ok) from time here. 2 from ZT's, 1 from paid membership, and 1 from Kershaws owned. I will post pics in the points thread.

I accept the Kode and would like lowest number available.

Well, I'm up to 6 points so far, but I just placed an order with Dave that will get me to 10. I'm getting there :)

on second thought, I'm bling-blinging my last 2 required points in ;)


Bare Minimum Requirements:
- Own 1 Kershaw, 1 ZT or 1 Shun knife
- Have at least 50 Post in the Kershaw Sub-Forum
- Follow the Kode of Konduct.
- Score 12 points

Score 12 points:
1 point for every 4 Kershaws owned. 1660ST, 1660CKTST, 1660G10, 1660OLBLKST, 1660VIB, 1600BLK, & 3160 . So that's 1 point.
1 point for every 1 ZT owned. 5 Now. 0301 #0046, 0301 #4979, 0100 #2602, 0350 #5556, & 0350TSST #6856
1 point for every "Knife of the Year" owned. 2. Black Chive 1600BLK & Leek 1660VIB
1 point for every 50 posts of value in the Kershaw section. 67/50=1
1 point for a recommendation from a current club member 1

I definitely agree to abide by the Kode of Konduct. There's nothing there I wouldn't do already anyway.

Since the knives will be.for points that allow the requires points to be met a pic is needed in the points thread to make you an official member

The Original Post in this thread has link to the knife of the year thread and also the answer to your post count. Ill double check that its there, should be.
 
Hmmm....as much as I'd like to be a part of this, I fall far short of the requirements :(
