I'm not signing up however I thought I'd chime in and say I have much respect for all your members. There's nothing more valuable around here than experienced & knowledgeable members who are willing to help others and respectfully share their opinions. :thumbup:

Actually I wasn't. I believe I own one Kershaw knife I bought around 7 years ago. Never heard of a KAI. Guess I don't qualify.

Added: Reviewed your qualifications. Actually I easily qualify. Knife events (Blade etc.), posts, years of membership, etc.

So I get one point for being a paid member and two points for being Gold???

And what about KAI Wasabi knives, how many points for those?

And most importantly in all of this, what's in it for me?

You actually have 66 points for just post count and another 12 points+ for membership tenure.

I don't have as many knives as I once did, but there are a BUNCH! (search will turn up plenty of pics). Never quite made the "KM" back in the day, but this doesn't seem nearly as challenging.

I'd like # 1974, which, I believe, was Pete's founding year.

A little side note; I fell in love with knives at an early age and my first memory of my Dad being stunned with my sharpening skill was getting a first run DWO shaving sharp on a set of Buck tri-stones at age 11. Those had some crazy hard steel. He still has it, and it's still sharp 22 years later. The challenge of that project enamored me with Kershaws and I've been buying them ever since.

5 Points for Dealer membership
9 Points for Pirate membership

1 point for attending Kershaw events (Blade, SHOT, etc.)
3 points for a whole collection of model or series (Own every Leek, ZT0350 or own every CB, or every Blue Kershaw, etc)
NEW 1/2 per year for serving in our nations military.

- We will ask for picture verification for the Knife Points and the Kershaw Factory. Put your username in the knife pics, on a sticky note or something.
- No paid membership requirements

A. How many points you have or that you meet the points required
C. State that you agree to follow the Kode of Konduct
D. If you want to request a number include that too.

Thanks! We enjoy our knives and collected have a ton of info offerings old and new! If it werent for some of the older guys i wouldn't know half as much as I do today.

I think it was more of a joke

. We'd love to have you aboard. You would just need a pic of your kershaws or ZT's that you are using for points as per the rules.

Hi Bob! Correct on the paid and gold question. You could count those Wasabi's as you do the Kershaws. You get tons of info from the members here that know all about the old and the new! You also get the comradery. We'd love to have you aboard!

Well, I am a Gold member and retired Navy (20 years), which should meet the 12 point requirement. I also own a customized 0560 and a 0200.

If selected for entry I would prefer #0333
