Chris, from a distance that mango finished a little similar to some of your oak crotch but does it have a metallic flash to it when you move it around like koa does?

Also I notice my newest batch doesn't have any KFU stamps on them yet. Are they going to get their birthmark before they leave Knoxville?

Eric, they are all stamped, I just hadn't done it yet before the pic. The Mango doesn't have the chatoyancy that Koa has but its does have a little. I haven't seen much that can match Koa in that department other than Ironwood and Sapele.

I figured the mango might have a litte of that flash to it & never expected it to be on par with koa. But yea I agree that koa is definitely up there in the beauty department as far as woods go. Some of these Hawaiian woods are out of this world; quite amazing & glad to see your interest in working with them.
