I was tired of dealing with horrible humidity/single-walled tent issues down here in FL, so I ordered a new tent from Amazon, the Big Agnes Seedhouse 3, and got a good deal on it.

It's an all-mesh tent with a separate rain fly. I plan to run it without the rain fly unless it's raining. One of the main reasons I don't camp much is because I hate the humidity and condensation that builds up on the inside of the tent.

Big Agnes' website says packed weight is almost 6lbs. That's a little portly for a backpacking tent, but it's also a 3 person tent. I plan to solo it.:D Yes, I like lots of room.

I have a 3 day camping trip coming up in about 2 weeks. It's nothing real outdoors. It's a Jeep club camp out; so, basically car-camping at a campground. I will get to test the tent out, though.

I've got a Seedhouse 2-person, its a great tent. Laugh-out-loud lightweight and good quality construction. You'll really like it.

Don't know about Florida but here in Mississippi we have so much dew at night that I have to use the rain fly to keep from getting soaked. I have gotten up in the morning before and the fly was literally soaking wet! I do love a tent with a lot of mesh.

I take a Big Agnus to the Boundary Waters in MN every year while canoeing. It's a great tent. A 3-person for a solo is a little indulgent but I do the same thing, myself.

I also just bought a Big Agnes Elkhorn 3. Seems like a great tent, I havent done anything except setting it up in my back yard. Can't wait to get it out into the woods. I got a steep discount on mine.

I slept in my REI quarterdome t3 by myself this weekend. Great feeling.

I was looking at the Quarterdome T3, Marmot Aeros 3, Seedhouse 3, and MSR Mutha Hubba. The deal on the Seedhouse 3 was killer, so that was the decision maker.

I need a tent or shelter of some sort. I have some tarps, but ideally I want something else. Anyone know of a reasonable 2 person tent? I don't camp in the winter.
