I used to carry a Ruger GP-100 back in the day. Do these new semi auto .357's also fire .38 special like my revolver would?

Well, I finally got my new grip panels for my Coonan and man do they feel really good, much better than the wood that came with it! I do love this pistol, after acquiring and shooting it a while back, I find myself no longer looking at the next pistol to buy... well, unless it was another Coonan to make a pair. Here's a pic as promised.
