Yes, but you need to change the recoil spring and use their newest magazines.

Well, I finally got my new grip panels for my Coonan and man do they feel really good, much better than the wood that came with it! I do love this pistol, after acquiring and shooting it a while back, I find myself no longer looking at the next pistol to buy... well, unless it was another Coonan to make a pair. Here's a pic as promised.

I remember those, I heard they were making them again. I'm glad to see they still have that understated look. .357 Magnum is a great round. Here's my favorite .357:

I have a Model 66-3 just like that one. The Coonan .357 are a very cool gun. My buddy had one years ago along with the .45 Win Auto Mag. The .45 Auto mag was the cat's meow!

A couple pictures of my coonan , Great shooter.........If you like 1911's this is a must have ................ I have both springs for 38 or 357 , both feed great and are very accurate.
