Ordered first Buck custom 110. . .

Ordered this morning. Already wishing the knife was here. I sure hope it makes it by Thanksgiving.

Hope you get it by Thanksgiving. I ordered my first custom 110 back in August and it only took 2.5 weeks to get. I was happy with the turnaround time and especially happy with the knife.

Handle: Brown Elk Horn
Blade: Plain edge, BG-42 Satin
Bolsters: Nickel Silver

I also got fingergrooves and the nickel-silver rivets. I like the look of rivets in stag or elk. Reminds me of the high-quality slip joints.

Got the cordura sheath. This knife is for hunting, and leather sheaths hold onto water longer if they get wet. Going hunting back home in Alabama this Thanksgiving, and I hope I can put this one to use.

Guyon, the Elk should really stand out with the nickle silver bolsters! I've got a 112 rebladed with the BG42 and love it. Happy hunting.

Guyon you have excellent taste! I ordered exactly the same configuration, except for the sheath. BG42 plainedge, brown elk scales, finger groove, nickel silver bolsters with rivets. It is a sweet looking knife.

That's funny, ceg. I went back and forth over the various configurations for a while, but I finally settled on the above. Would love to see a pic or scan of your 110 if you've got one.

Speaking of reblading with BG42, I just ordered one of the $25 XLT Titanium 560 Bucks from SMKW. Thinking about getting some BG42 put in it.
