Ordered My First Busse!

Im canadian and never have had a problem with customs. Tho the duty fees can be a pain! I just paid $100 duty on a $$550 waki! Plus the $550 usd was just over $700!!!! So factor those in when buying knives. But bussse knives never a problem

Now begins my long wait, and the stress of hoping there's no issues with customs. If any Canadian members have experience ordering from Busse, some reassurance would be greatly appreciated. I ordered a black blade with black and orange G10 handle.

The only video I watched that related to Busse was someone cutting up a deer with a busse, and it was AWESOME! So I don't know what I did to offend you, I thought I said something positive on that video, but if I did offend you I apologize it was never my intention.

Edit, ya I found the video I watched and it was uploaded by AZTimT and I said the video was satisfying to watch. So if you could please refresh my memory as to what I said on youtube and what video it was on would be much appreciated. I don't think I've ever said anything offensive to the knife community on youtube.

The American Regulators are starting to ship. I got mine on Christmas eve. SR101 blew me away when I had a Rucki. Haven't really put my INFI to any real tests yet, but if it's considerably better than SR101 it must be one heck of a steel. Well, so is SR101 actually.


Also, someone's jimmies are heavily rustled.

Congrats to all that have ordered their first bussekin! Operation 2 weeks has introduced some old and well tested designs to a lot of new piglets.
Just be carefull not to go crazy on the exchange while you wait for delivery. Leave some for us.

Breavis buddy, maybe that is best suited for PMs?

He said If I was so worried about the pronunciation of Busse then I should get a hobby. This is my hobby.... It's wicked frustration to watch YouTube videos and find them by people who generally know about what they are reviewing. One of the major reviewers on YouTube had a video on a Busse knife. He said Buuusssseeee like it's French, I made the comment, in the comments that it was busse pronounced like buzzy. This jerk comes out of nowhere and writes this... (my full name) cool opinion you have there, if it bothers you so much that he mispronounced it then it seems like you need a hobbie.

I didn't say anything to obsidian, nothing at all, yet he felt the need to come in and tell me what I need, and how my hobbies are lacking.

Well if you know me or have bought a knife from me then I bet you can't pronounce my last name either, it's hella frustrating to always be called by another name because certain people slave themselves to the thought that everyone must pronounce their name the way they say.

I didn't know how to pronounce Busse either but I called and Lexi told be the proper pronunciation. I didn't assume until corrected, all I was saying was that if you ate going to do a 12 minute video on a knife at least know how to pronounce the name so you aren't perpetuating the cycle of people who can't even pronounce what they are supposedly expert enough to review.

Sorry for the rant, It's really garbage, just not what I wanted to find in my email on Christmas evening...

I got my first Busse around Thanksgiving. I am waiting for the green light from Mama to order another. :o

First, name calling is against the rules here and can get you a warning or infraction.

Second, bringing drama from other sites here is against the rules as well.

You are really overreacting to someone mispronouncing the Busse name, and especially over someone commenting back.

All on Christmas day no less.

Being a gentleman is what the Busse forum is about - the rest will sort themselves out. Infi can shield you from all of the disagreeable comments in the world.

What would Jerry say.....Let's Drink!

When I first discovered the line I called it. BOOSEY like Gary Busey (the crazy blond actor guy with big teeth), rather than BUS-EE (like school Bus). The way it should be called. Yes Lexi fixed me on that one when I called in an order. I asked you the proper way to say and she politely gave me the information. edited. I have pictures to show my meaning but they did not come out properly. :(

Mqqn, thanks for chiming in, I was really wondering what your opinion was on this topic. Thanks for your points and your suggestions as well. I will let my wife and mother know that their jobs are in jeopardy.....

Oh and the drinking was the problem I'm not normally that prickly but Johnny walker makes me mean.

I said it was a rant, I said the whole thing was garbage. I really feel like you should leave things alone that don't directly involve you. This situation(which isn't one) is only made bigger with your nose in it. Sorry to the op for any disrespect or any misdirection...

I'll take my infraction if need be. I'm much more sober today but still not a push over.

My apologies breavis, all that I meant was that I thought that perhaps you were overly bothered by his mispronunciation. We are all knife enthusiasts and I didn't really mean any personal offence. I hope you'll accept my apology.

YouTube is a totally different environment so you never know if you're talking to another knife guy, or someone trying to stir up trouble.

Truthfully, I didn't handle it well and hammered is no excuse. I have only ever written on 1 video on YouTube. It happened to be the one you commented on. I apologize as well but this is my hobby.

I really can't understand doing a 12 minute video on something you can't even pronounce, or starting the video by saying that I'm pretty sure nobody will watch this video, why make it???

I'm not sore about it anymore and would have emailed you or pm'd you but that wasn't an option.
