So, I'm ordering a few inexpensive knives for a specific purpose on a fairly inexpensive website. When I order online I like to bulk up my orders with extra fodder since I already have to pay shipping. I may as well throw a few extra knives in.... Right?

Any advice on some inexpensive knives or machetes or blades in general, to add to the mix in the under $30 or $40 category? Thus far, I'm open to just about anything. Thanks for the suggestions! I'll probably pull the trigger in 24 hours so there is plenty of time to add more to the cart!

spyderco tenacious, kershaw oso sweet, kershaw skyline, ontario rat 1.

those would be some nice fodder :D

I added all but the Rat-1 to my cart thus far. It's the only one they DON'T stock. Thanks for the recommendations. I'll decide which to keep before I order tomorrow and report back. I need more OPTIONS! Keep em COMIN'! And thanks Gundude!

Thanks Leftover. Added an Opinel to the cart. The rest are unavailable at this site. Keep em coming! I'll probably keep the cart open until tomorrow night.

Case Sodbuster Jr., definately keep that Opinel in there, possibly a SAK, Mora, maybe something from Condor like the Bushcraft...

Hawaiianhawk,
Looking at a BUCH of byrds, I'll probably add a couple. Looking at the Buck's too.

Nevermind,
I'm all SAK'd out, and just picked up 4 new Moras/Scandi's. I looked up a few Condor's and they carry the Bushcraft in all 3 sizes but like most Condor distributors, they're OUT OF STOCK :( I wish they weren't. For the price...That Bushcraft looks UNBEATABLE. You're right though, the Opinel STAYS! :D

ALL of these are good solid choices for the money! Keep em COMING!

Foryou,

All were in stock so I added them all. I can't believe how inexpensive they are! Excellent choices!

Thanks to all who've chimed in thus far. KILLER RECOMMENDATIONS and MUCH APPRECIATED! KEEP them ROLLING IN!

Really go for the skyline. It is a great little knife. Also the BMHK14300 looks interesting.

- If they stock it, the superb Eka Swede 88 - a scandinavian style pocket knife. Lovely.

- Affordable Rough Rider classic - style slipjoint knives that perform and feel well above their price level

- the french classic Douk-Douk if they stock it

- And more Opinels, of different sizes. And more Moras.

- a selection of Boker Magnums - they often are reasonably ok for their low price

Tramontina machetes. Amazing value for $6. Better F&F than Martindale at a fraction of the cost. Can't go wrong.
