Ordering a couple inexpensive knives. Need advice on some FODDER.

CRKT Drifter has been a good blade. It is available in G-10 linerlock and SS framelock. Only about $20..... The RAT 1 like other people have suggested is great. All 3 of the ones I have ordered all had an excessively tight pivot screw which made one hand deployment very difficult, once you loosen it, they open very fast and solidly. I think the Victorinox OHT is supposed to be good, but I don't have any yet, but it's available in that price range....

Maybe a mercator kat k55k knife? I've wanted one of those for awhile...

How bout a hooked knife? Or an Old Hickory or Green river?

You could probably get a single custom instead of all that fodder. :p

My current favorite el chepo is the Kershaw Chill. Excellent Fit and finish for a $20 knife.

crkt markets a number of small fixed blades,Ringers,Bearclaw,triumph,dogfish,m.u.k,or rsk mk5. Kabar tdi, becker remora, boker clb edit. Are you starting a store? If you are giving away to the poor and downtrodden, let me know,I'll submit a list of what I want...

Cave Dave,

I'm not buying ALL of them. Just getting suggestions. I'll probably spend an extra $100 on fodder. Thanks for the recommendations folks. I think I have what I need now. Much appreciated! GREAT suggestions.
