I just left the Buck website.There is no option for ordering a nickel silver frame,for the 110 model,from their custom shop.

I hope this is a temporary situation.

Yeah, I saw that tonight too. I ordered a custom earlier this week with the nickel silver, and now I'm really glad I did.

Glad I bought one of the Buck 110 S30V Folding Hunter Pro's a couple years ago - I like the nickel silver - keeps the green crud away. OH

Seems to happen now and then. I always found it interesting how they offer them the same price in the CS, but a Chairman series with a laminate and a simple laser engrave is double the cost

You and me both! I've been building a custom 110 on the website just about every night but had yet to pull the trigger on it. I'm now wishing I had.

I'll have to wait until after Christmas to order another 112 from the Custom Shop.

I can't seem to find other 112's at a decent price.

Even the Yellowhorse knives,which traditionally have sold for 2-250, have taken a dramatic leap upwards in price.

It appears to be desperate times for some sellers or just an example of greed.

Glad it was off the table when I ordered my first custom 110 as I think I needed the brass for my first custom. Will go with the nickel for my next one. Ordered three weeks ago so waiting patiently and expectantly. Went with the S30V and stag handle.
