Ordering new TGULB: coating color?

Sage for me, but only since tanker grey was discontinued. Sage looks damn good with any handle.

But, I had a Rucki with red/black g10 scales and muddy brown blade and that was a stunning combo... truly fantastic, actually.

Damn, did you buy my old one? If you got it off the exchange you might have. That thing was one of the nicest looking kin blades I’ve ever owned.

Only reason I turned it loose was to trade it for an ASHBM with a colorway only offered in a ganza. Just couldn’t turn that one down.

Same with the sage.
Tanker gray would have been the best.

That hammered silver is intriguing. Has anyone actually used it, and posted any photos? I don't recall ever seeing it used.

Yeah ive got a drop point ISH Ratmandu thats hammered silver.
I pounded it through a bunch of birch.
Took around 30 min to get through the coating down to the steel.
Bronze and green, 5 min.
Ill get a pic up later

That's been pounded through birch, Osage orange and Lignum vitae.
It's a very tough coating. I don't like it though, too flashy/shiny.
I'll clean off the snarge and put some picture's up of just the worn coating and bare spots.
