All dimensions are the same except for blade length. The DS8 blade is 2" longer.

I measured my Dog Soldier at the spine just by the SYKCO mark at ~0.225" with the coating.

I was wondering if it was a brown. The more I looked the more I think it’s black with the lighting playing tricks.
