So what does the BF blade stamp look like??

It will actually be a stamp on the tang. It will say Bladeforums and there will be two dots or stars. The 2010 forum knife started out with 10 dots and one dot is removed each year, similar to the dating system that Case uses.

The first post in the linked thread below shows an example of last year's tang stamp. (3 stars indicating 2017)

I recall end of October was mentioned as an absolute best case scenario. I would expect the end of November instead, that way you can be pleasantly surprised if things go well and avoid disappointment if they don't.

The knives were paid for in advance and the quantity paid for was the quantity ordered. I believe the total was 474 knives so it's almost inevitable that some will pop up on The Exchange.
