I guess this makes sense. As you paid tax, that was an early order before correction and the orders likely go out in the order placed. Makes me wonder how far down the list mine is.

Just for clarity sake, it was my understanding that after the price increase anyone could order one regardless of requirements BUT per the very first post in this thread it would still be 1 per household. Though I'm sure Spark could clarify if need be.

The initial post sounded, to me, like someone copping to an honest mistake and politely requesting that their error be corrected. To be fair, I thought I saw a post similar to what was described but assumed it was a joke. Joke/not joke isn't always clear in written communication but I suppose as a relatively new (participating) member, I try to err on the side of caution and not make too many waves (of which I'm certain purchasing "extra" forum knives would rank at a "Kanagawa" level).

On the other hand, I think Spark probably had some inkling of what he'd be getting into when he donned the, both coveted and maligned, "Forum Knife Coordinator" hat.

"Blessed are the peacemakers..." and all that jazz.

For prior year forum knives, is this year's a typical duration between initial concept drawings and delivery? Just curious as to how this year compares or if being the 25th made it different somehow? This would be a special one, but I wasn't sure if the process differed.
