ORDERS ARE CLOSED! 2023 BladeForums.com Traditional Knife.

Ok, we're down to under 5 knives left, so as soon as they run out you won't be able to order any more. After they are all gone and I've had a chance to ship everything I'll open up ordering for the variants, acrylics, etc.

"But Sparrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrk why is it taking so long to shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiip?"

Good question. This morning I timed myself from start to finish pulling a knife, boxing it, putting the info in the spreadsheet, getting a shipping label, etc. It took roughly 4 minutes. Multiply that by 600 knives. 2400 minutes. Simplified? 15 knives an hour, or 40 hours for 600 knives, just packing and shipping these. This is after my primary job, in addition to taking care of forums tech stuff. So it's going to take a bit to get all of these all out of here. Especially when I have to take time to answer the same email over and over of "where is it"

This explanation has been provided in the interest of transparency. Rest assured, the person who prompted it will get their order cancelled and refunded when possible.

I was not happy about the price hike until I realized that as a result of BF existing as a website, I by far come out in the black (coming out in the black is a good thing right? I dont gamble) financially considering the small costs I incur here and this is my probably only chance to get a really nice GEC for non gouged price. Whoo this will be sweet. Any hidden GEC knowledge? Maintenance? Need to keep my bolsters like a mirror (or be able to do it at least)

Spark Spark 40 hours? I mean clearly you ain't gonna get some bennies and red bull and just do a marathon but say 4hrs a day, with a few days off for prayer... two weeks plus? That isnt bad at all. I thought the older gen here was more patient, you should have made it mail order 4-6 weeks lol. Thanks for the drop! Last 4 knives dang, I never make these drops but finally have

I mean people had plenty of time to preorder, and the preorder savings literally is more than a gold membership, so it's like getting benefits for free if you think about it. It is what it is

im so curious if Bill snuck a clip into the variants or maybe even a spear 🤓🤔

will be fun to see since im sure the pattern shares blades with something

You're a Saint. There is no way i could take on this task. 🥰 🥰 🥰

I don’t understand the complaints about ship time. You get it when you get it. It’s Spark, not “Spark‘s Grand Knife Emporium”. It’s like people think there are 30 people driving forklifts around the place to fill orders and FedEx trucks docked on 9 bays.
Amazon mentality now, people think once they order something if it's not there in 2 days they feel jilted.
