Mine shows the little divots in the bolsters were the jigging touches the bolsters. I’m not sure if it is done intentionally or not. (I’ve heard both in the past). But if intentional it was nicely done very subtle View attachment 2355666View attachment 2355667

The pinched bolsters are a neat detail too.

I think those divots are a result of the scale buffing process. The buffing wheel is relatively soft to conform to the curves of the scales and bolsters. It looks like the softer buffing material partially entered the scale jigging and removed some bolster material where there was a sharp transition in the geometry between the scale and jigging. I've seen it before on other GECs. I don't think it's intentional, just a feature of the process.

Well, actually I just found out and unbelievable feature of our 2023 forum knife !
Pressing on the shield activates a very cleverly designed mechanism which deploys the main blade automatically !

WOW !!!

In switchblades and automatic knives are not legal though.
What shall I do ? ( I crossed the border twice already with it in my pocket )
