OREGON KNIFE SHOW 2019

Charlie, 2008 was a good year for you! Hope I can find a few of the old wood covered jumbo jacks there this year like some of yours; excellent finds! I will be there at table U-3 for the duration (when I'm not sneaking out to see the show myself!).

We'll miss you this year Lloyd, but I'm sure not as much as your granddaughter would!

Looking forward to seeing all the forumites, as usual, and if you haven't been to the show before, this might be the year. It is a great show and get-together!
 
I'm thinking of driving up to this it isnt that far from me. Would love to meet some of you and see some awesome knives :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:
And it wouldn't suck to hit the coast while I am up that way for a little surf fishing :)

Edit - Room booked. I am driving up Friday and will be at the show on Saturday. I don't know what many of you look like so I'll do my best to find you and introduce myself. Maybe I'll wear a "Hi My Name is Waverave on BF" sticker :) So far I know Charlie is at table U-2 and Barry is at U-3 and I'll go from there.

Yes Jack, Pearl!! That is a custom knife, made by Roy Humenick. It is the Prototype for the club knife, made that year by Roy that year with wood handles! There have been a few custom-made Club knives, but the last few have all been GECs.
I hope you come out some time!! Duncan is coming in 2020!!

Maybe Charlie, I might be retired by then and Donna would like to travel some.

I'll be there on Friday. Been looking forward to it since Blade Show West. I've mostly been a lurker to the porch due to family circumstances and responsibilities, and thought I had no chance of being able to go, but that has changed now, and I can't wait. I'm also hoping to get to spend some time with my grandson. I will make it a point to try and meet as many porch members as I can. Travel safely all.

If weather permits I might have to take my bike this year that way I’ll have less room for knives ;)
