I would totally be there if it was happening in the Portland area, I just have too much on my plate for this weekend... shucks :.

Have a great time!, but maybe I'll see you down there next year.:grumpy:

Dangit! I totally forgot this was coming up! Maybe I can sneak away for a day. It would be worth to meet the man behind my favorite knife!

I'll be there, table I 13!

Last year I got there to late in the afternoon & didn't get to see everything so this year I will be there when the doors open for sure. See you there!

Guys...you just DO NOT know just how lucky you are to be able to get there AND to be in the fantastic position to see such knives in abundance - this Kiwi is wishing BIG time I was there to shake the hands of some good friends who I haven't had the pleasure of meeting in person yet.

PLEASE PLEASE post lots of pictures of lots of tables and of course the people behind them - be sure to get a good flick of Charlie behind his Table.

Have a fantastic time everyone lucky enough to go there!

Have a GREAT show Charlie!! Wish I could, gotta work. :(
Some day.....

Montana!! So close, yet so far away!
You will get there some day Dave!!

If I can figure out how to take pics and post them with an iPad, I will do so!

I figure to be down there Saturday morning. It's a couple hours on the road, though, so how early depends partly on how well Friday night goes. :D

Strange, though -- I'm back in one of my "Simple, humble, cheap" phases right now, so it's not like I'm really on the hunt for the kind of stuff you'd go to a big show for. But I may as well see what I can see.

Hope everybody has a good show!

Are we allowed to take our knives to visit everyone else's knives?

Seriously though it's about a 3 hour drive from here, might see if I can make it, it would be worth the 6 bucks and the drive just to see some faces and shake hands with some of the Oregon BF Members.

Someone should have planned for a BF Member's meet and greet.

Look foward to hopefully meeting some of you guys.

... German "Kraut" wishing as well :grumpy:

I´d like to see a lot of pics from this show :)

I hope you guys that are on the Oregon Knife Show have a great time!

Hey, this Baltimoron from Merryland is wishing he could make it out there too. I'll be with you in knife show heaven the end of the month at a tiny show about two hours away. Have fun and take pics, something I have to remember to do at the Mason Dixon knife show.

I'm sending my dad Gerry in your direction. He's the 'grandfather' to a couple of my ebony barlows. 😀

Bummed I can't make it myself.

I've managed to be traveling for business the last two, and am on the road again this year. This sucks...

Sorry you won't be there this year Perry. Howsomever, I will be there hangin' with Charlie and Chris and maybe even Derrick (if he doesn't mind) as well as some others! For sure I'm going to visit each and every table there, as well as watching the demonstrations on Saturday. It's been a rough week, but I'm finally ready!

Some 2012 photos:

A collector at some vendor's table:

Me and Singin50 (although he was much younger then). I think he's laughin' at my britches, as they were just a little too large.

Upnorth in his natural habitat:

See you there Charlie!

Oh man, that brings back memories, Barry! I had a great couple days there, hangin with you, Charlie and Dale Vincent. Knives and good friends, how do you beat that!
