Oregon Knife Show

My son and I went to the Oregon Knife show today . What a great day we had . I bought a knife there from a fellow member and friend . Got to handle a few knives I have had my eye on . Got to talk to some great knife makers , Ed Schempp, Jim Allen , Derrick from Knivesshipfree. Not to take anything away from the previous gentleman. The highlight of my day was meeting Mr Sal Glesser & his son Eric . Sal spent about 15 min talking to my son and I . Talking to us about and giving us tips on sharpening . Talking about the evolution of steels since he has been in the industry. Talking about handle material and designs . I could have talked to him for hours . The passion he has when talking about knives is second to none .
Mr Glesser I hope you see this , my son and I want to thank you and you have customers for life sir !

That is very cool. It is a great show, and you can easily spend all day there walking around talking to people
