It had a fantastic ending price, sadly the reserve wasn't met. Maybe the high bidder will be lucky and get a second chance offer from the seller.

Actually I am at work, wating for a diagnostic cycle to finish. Second...you were so close, all you needed was a little bit more and that beautiful satin jack could have been yours :D
 
Reserve was $400, which is what led me to ask about it here in the first place - seemed either there was something exceptional about this particular SJ or the seller just had an overly optimistic notion of its value.

So to bring this thread back to where it started, can anybody offer any clues as to the origin of this SJ and maybe how many others with the same markings are out there?

How did you now the reserve was 400? My max bid was $335 or $340 and I know I didn't get it, oh well. The reserve was a little high, me thinks.

HE E-MAILED Me to see if i wanted the knife for what i bid(i was the highest bider)mailed him back to tell him sure i wanted it ,no reply.ANY ONE KNOW THIS CAT.Already E-Mailed his friend that posted up in the thread to.His name is Tim that is all i know:confused: :confused: :confused:
 
Yeah I know him good,he's a buddy of mine.For somebody thats as computer savvy as he is he never ever regularly checks his e-mail:confused: go figure.I will e-mail him for you,if he does not get back to me tonight later on I will call him at home to see whats up.Thats one helluva nice knife by the way;)
 
Have you guys still not spoken?I called him from work yesterday and he said he would sell at the agreed price.E-mail me for the purtinent info like his e-mail adress.
