You might want to check bladeforums rules. You cannot sell without a gold or above membership and sales are restricted to the exchange section only.

Then whats the point of the forum guess ill delete it

Sorry, this just made me laugh. The whole thing.

No offense intended though, just that statement in isolation gave me a giggle.

To discuss knives, and particularly Becker knives on this subforum.

^that.

We talk about using them, modifying them, show times when we did either/both of those, answer questions about them for others that don't own them, sometimes get sneak peeks at new ones from Ethan Becker himself, and participate in contests/drawings to win them from time to time.

Well as long as we're discussing, how did you come across such a big piece of Becker history?

Agreed! How did you come across it? How do you know it was made in his garage? Inquiring minds want to know :).

It was a gift from a guy for helping him work on his home and i sent pics to Ethan snd spoke to him on the phone for about an hour.

It's an awesome knife. Get a gold membership and sell it on the exchange. You can post a link to sale in the snark thread.

No thanks not gonna pay to sell 1 knife

There's always fleabay. You just won't have the same number of aficionados there. Up to you to judge whether you'd make up the extra selling here to peeps who are particularly interested in that kind of item.

But then fleabay charges 10% and Paypal 3%~4%. It'd cost more to sell a $xxx knife there than here. ;)

it's not even worth that imho ;) also, that's deal spotting. don't do it.

also, if you're going to see something, in a specialty forum, expect to pay. free rides are rare. otherwise, keep it, and cherish it.

not much of a gift if the guy who had it let it go.

This was on the Becker page on Facebook, while being a cool piece of Becker history I wouldn't pay that kinda asking price...

I didn't know we could post the links in the snark thread… I feel bad now. every time I put a becker up in the exchange forum I hope a fellow beckerhead gets it and they never do.
