Original BK&T Companion

I didn't know we could post the links in the snark thread… I feel bad now. every time I put a becker up in the exchange forum I hope a fellow beckerhead gets it and they never do.

it's not esp encouraged even if it's not deal spotting...

I think he's gone. Too bad. It was a great knife, probably a great story, and he went away sore. I'd have liked to read more about it. I suppose someone interested in buying it might contact him privately.

it's a great knife. one of my favorites, those chrome ones. have several.

there is information in the database, and some cool pictures.

BF have rules about sellers. they have to abide. their being mad about that, "so it goes". Spark's house. Spark's rules.

we are not craigslist or a yardsale. wanna make a profit? grease the Spark.

he could have been majorly infracted - 3/5ths of the way to a full ban and we didn't do that.

if he was REALLY into Becker, and the knives, and history, and such, he'd stay around perhaps.

i'll talk to Ethan about it shortly.

Its a cool piece, I really dig the blade shape. Pity he wants to make a fast buck but maybe there are other reasons. It seems he's a tourist at best, if he comes back he'll prove me wrong. Hope he does, I what to see more pics!

I only mentioned fleabay knowing it cost so much to sell there. I hoped he would note that and realize the good deal with the exchange. I would have liked to have seen that knife find a good home with someone around these parts.

As for posting in the snark, I only know that I've seen it done. Sorry, not trying to rub another man's rhubarb! :D

Im not sore im not mad and i sold the knife only reason i joined the forum was because someone suggested it as a place to sell it

Hope it found a good home. Stick around, even though you only came to sell. You'll learn a lot and probably tell us all stuff we don't know. Welcome!

It went to a true Beckerhead out in Baltimore and i talked to the guy for a few hours and even became friends with him on Facebook

Me too and the only reason i had to sell it was to make up funds from lost hours at work. My kids gotta eat and that comes before any blade no matter how much i love it.

Why? That was the only knife that i had that I needed a specific group of buyers to move and the buyer found me on Facebook so I'll just stay with the free membership for now

Membership isn't about selling. Well, gold membership might be a little about selling. But I've never sold and have no intention to.
