I wouldn't worry about it. I give my M4 and SB blades no more attention than any other steel and have never had any rust

Do you have solid liners? You mentioned that the one you found was "one of the originals," I think?

I think only the very first few were shipped without the logo. I think I remember reading like the initial hundred.

Yep. That sounds like one of the earliest production runs of the GB. Enjoy the higher hardness on that M4!
