I wouldn't worry about it. I give my M4 and SB blades no more attention than any other steel and have never had any rust

I think only the very first few were shipped without the logo. I think I remember reading like the initial hundred.

Yep. That sounds like one of the earliest production runs of the GB. Enjoy the higher hardness on that M4!
