I have an original pre-production prototype Calypso Jr, NIB, for trade (for ?...small Manix, or ?...e/m me with thoughts, though I'm pretty particular)
This knife is an extra one (of two) I bought in 1997, in LA, at a dealer who had a tight relationship with Spyderco and got early or pre-prod models. This is, iirc, the first knife Spydie made with a flat ground blade. It is marked on the box "prototype" and is brand new, never used. Brown micarta handles, silver pocket clip. As you probably know, the Calypso was responsible for the popularity of flat ground, leaf shaped blades. It is a very comfortable EDC knife, and with the finger choils and thumb rest feels great in the hand, when cutting, though it's not a large knife.
Will try to post a photo ASAP. Thanks.
Update: looking for Spyderco KOPA black micarta or honey jigged bone.
